Cerveri

2026 — Chief Technical Officer (CTO)
Visit Site →

Cerveri is a confidential platform built on React, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL with Anthropic Claude integration. As CTO, I direct a distributed development team and serve as the liaison between the project owner and engineering. I translate business goals into the project’s Build Requirements Matrix, the requirements document developers build from. I also maintain the Decision Log that records the project’s technical and process decisions. I review and merge every pull request.

I built the platform’s AWS foundation myself. That work included the organization and its accounts, secure root access, and IAM Identity Center sign-in. I also set up scoped permission sets with a permissions boundary, so each developer gets only the access their work requires. I designed the production release controls: a manual-only deploy workflow that only I can trigger, enforced by GitHub branch rulesets I configured. I also set up the project’s Cloudflare DNS records, Google Workspace email configuration, and SendGrid outbound email with domain authentication. In August 2026 I led the production go-live, handling the DNS, hosting, and release configuration to bring the site live.

I oversaw the team’s work across the rest of the stack. That included Terraform-managed backend environments on AWS Lightsail, a managed production PostgreSQL database with backups, and ongoing frontend, AI pipeline, and security development.

Using AI-assisted coding, I designed and built two internal tools: an automated AI pull-request reviewer that serves as a required merge check, and a pipeline that syncs governing project documents from Google Drive into the code repository.

Stack: React, Vite, Tailwind, Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Anthropic Claude via LangChain, AWS (Organizations, IAM Identity Center, Lightsail), Terraform, Vercel, GitHub Actions, Cloudflare, Google Workspace, SendGrid, pytest.
